Boy's chorus

A quick quiz for the guys,

How many of you remembering volunteering for the Boy's Chorus and singing at a mass? If memory serves we sounded ok for a handful of boys. Wasn't it during the Christmas season? It did not last too long for what ever the reason.

When my Son was in middle school he joined Ragazzi and truly enjoyed learning music theory as well as performing at the concerts. My how times have changed.

Russ, I have a vague recollection of the choir. Upstairs in the back with the organist?

I remember that pretty well. I remember when Sister Elaine asked if the boys were interested in volunteering, and after a short pause I raised my hand first. Don't ask me why I did it, but I was glad when a bunch of other guys raised their hands soon afterwards. Yes, we sang up on the back balcony, and I think we did a pretty good job.

Yes, we sat up by the organ in the area the *real* choir would sit. And yes, there were quite a few of us, at least two rows worth.

I do remember we had fun. Still not sure if it was just for the season or if we stopped for another reason.

I believe it was just for Christmas. Those are the only songs I remember singing.
